- Populists saw themselves as underdogs and were fighting to change their own lives.
- By 1900, over 10% of Kansas children between the ages of 10 and 15 went to work everyday.
Women representing leading women’s colleges such as Vassar join with women representing the University of Kansas, Stanford, and the University of Missouri in a protest outside the White House.
