RE-ENROLLMENT PERIOD IS OPEN
January 7 - January 25 is our current student Re-Enrollment Period for the 2019 - 2020 School Year.
To re-enroll your child for the NEXT school year, you must go into your skyward account and click on the re-enrollment tab. In order for the school to accept your request, you must upload your proof of residency (which can only be a utility bill or a lease, if you upload the incorrect bill, or do not upload a bill, we will not accept your request) If you're having trouble uploading your files, you may bring your utility bill to the front office.
Please give us a call if the re-enrollment tab is not visible.

GATE Referral Period Is Now Open
- Referral forms are available at the front office and on the school's web site.
- The referral forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, February 8, 2019.
- The 2019 Spring GT testing window is February 11, 2019 - March 29, 2019.

To order is simple, fill out the form and place payment of cash or check made out to HSE PTO in an envelope and place in PTO box located in the main lobby by back exit double glass doors or send into your child’s homeroom teacher addressed to HSE PTO.

Calling all HSE 6th-8th Grade Girls, Parents and Teachers!
The West Harris County American Association of University Women invites all 6th-8th grade girls to the annual Girls in STEM celebration, Expanding Your Horizons in Math and Science. EYH is a day-long conference where professional women share their enthusiasm and experiences working in scientific, technical and financial careers through hands-on educational sessions.
Saturday, February 23, 2019
8:00 a.m.- 3:15 p.m.
$6 per student | $6 per adult
Fee includes: Bus transportation from HSE (optional), light breakfast, lunch, four hands-on sessions with professional women in STEM fields, and a keynote presentation by artist Bridgette Mongeon (http://creativesculpture.com/).

Speed Cube Competition
All Harmony students are invited to play in the HSE 3x3 speed cube competition on Friday, February 22nd. All participants receive a free speed cube - simply register and bring the signed participant agreement to Mrs. Farrar. Get solving!

HSE- Houston Parent Academy
The Parent Academy consists of a series of inspirational sessions covering a wide variety of topics - from how to help your children in reading and math to bullying prevention and improving health and wellness. It is our hope that as you attend these sessions, you will gain valuable information regarding diverse tools, strategies, and resources that help nurture student's academic, social, and emotional development.
HSE Parent Academy
Professionals will provide information about how to take advantage of programs and resources that are valuable for you and your family. There will be free childcare. Your student(s) will receive one-day free dress pass since your participation.

Parenting & Child Development: "When Life is Stressful, What Happens to the Family and What to do about it" The importance of mental health in a stressful world. Negative consequences of stress ranging from physical health to suicide and things to do to reduce stress and improve quality of life.
Bullying / Cyber Bullying: How to recognize and prevent children from bullying and cybers bullying.
Financial Literacy 101: Difference between a bank and a credit union, building a basic budget, quick savings tips all at a high level.

HSE glad to offer Summer Camp Invention at HSE. Camp Invention is a week of hands-on fun that gets children excited about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). See Attached flyer for the details.
