Our Holiday Staff Party was so much FUN, lots of eating, talking, dancing, and just spending a wonderful time together! Thank-you Michelle and Sunshine committee for organizing it! If you couldn't make it, we understand and you were missed! We hope to see you at the next staff get together. Remember it is healthy to get to know our teammates and just have some fun! Two weeks left before our Holiday break and they are packed with school-wide activities, hang in there, it will be here before we know it!

Note: We are required to use the District ELA 9 weeks assessments, and the District Writing Inventories. As a campus, we can choose if we want to use the district created 9 weeks Math and Science Assessments, or if we want to create our own. Either way, they need to be in Eduphoria and the due dates are the same. See due dates below.

Teaching/Behavior Tip
Building relationships with your students has one of the greatest impacts in learning and student behavior. When your students love, and respect you, they will do anything for you. Learning and behavior improve through relationship building!

- Students may wear a college shirt on Wednesdays and a school spirit shirt on Fridays
- Early Release on 12/20 at 12:00 p.m.
- You may wear jeans if you participate in the Holiday Cheer Days!
Cold Weather Recess Policy
Children are expected to come to school prepared to participate in outdoor recess. Appropriate outerwear such as a hat, gloves and a warm coat are essential for healthy and safe outdoor play.
When the outside temperature, including wind chill, is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, recess will be held indoors. Otherwise, recess will be outside.

- Ms. Clark is the sunshine we all need. Everyone knows her as the silly teacher but she's actually very talented, hard-working, and dedicated too. There's really not a job or kid that she says no to, no matter what. She just says "I don't fear no man but God!" and jumps right in lololol!
- Ms. Rodriguez goes above and beyond to help not only her students but her teammates. By teammates, they can go from our kinder team to other grade levels! She does it out of her heart without a doubt!
- Ms. Davis always something kind to say, and is quick to help where needed!
- Ms. Becky Thompson is a phenomenal teacher. She is always very positive, empathetic, and effective!
- Mr. Olivas for always seeing the positive in everything!
- Ms. Moya is very supportive and helpful. She is always willing to help and puts others first!
- Ms. Sanguinetti is constantly enthusiastic and eager to put a smile on someone else's face. She is always striving to do better and be better, and she inspires me!
- Ms. Vazquez for always helping wherever and whenever she is needed!
- Ms. Jasmine from the cafeteria always greets my girls with smiles, and sometimes even a hug! She is one of the first faces they see in the morning, for breakfast, and she helps set a positive tone for the day!
- Mrs. Ruiz for rocking these first few months as our Principal. She is a leader who will cry with you, laugh with you, and roll up her sleeves and work right alongside you. We love you, Ruiz!
- Ms. Fisher is absolutely amazing to work with! She always has my back when it comes to work, and she is just a delight to be around. She can make your day feel so much better as soon as she starts talking with you! She is great to her students always going above and beyond what is asked!
- Ms. OIesen always has an answer for everything! I can come to her with any problem and she is able to fix it in seconds! She is an all knowing being in the front office!
- Ms. DiLuzio goes above and beyond for her students!
- Nurse Christina- always meeting our students' needs and running around the whole school!
- Ms. Garvey for sharing her wisdom and magic!
- Ms. L. Ruiz for her patience with our students even during unexpected behaviors.
- Ms. Hartford and Ms. Stevenson for OH! The things they seeeeeeeeeeee every single day!
- Ms. L. Ruiz for her strength and resolve. HOLY MOLY!
- Ms. Mendez is a valuable team member and does a great job when I need extra assistance with a student. She is a great collaborator and comes up with great ideas as well as executing them. I am thoroughly grateful that she is a part of my team!
- Ms. Moreno for jumping right in and being oh so helpful!
- Ms. Farjallah She is an amazing assistant or is not afraid to jump into the trenches with me. She is always so positive and never afraid to offer comfort to any of our students that need it. She helps me bring all of my ideas to life and comes up with great ones as well. She is an extremely valuable employee and I am so glad she is a part of our class!
- Ms. Stevenson for always seeing the positive and giving third, fourth, and fifth chances to students!
- Mr. Montalvo - his way of teaching concepts is awesome!
- Ms. Ruvalcaba for being so very helpful!
