Click HERE for this week’s episode, as we hear about the impact of Dr. Pope’s visit.
MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MRS. KATE MARTIN, SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST AT SURRARRER ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Kate Martin works at Surrarrer Elementary as a Speech/Language Pathologist. A graduate of Strongsville High School and also a resident of Strongsville, Mrs. Martin has worked at both Kinsner and Surrarrer Elementary Schools. She has both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kent State University.
“One of the best parts of my job is working with students and families to help best serve the students to get the greatest outcome. Knowing that I play a role in impacting our students’ growth in the areas of communication and social language skills drives my passion to continue
learning and developing my skills,” says Mrs. Martin.
She adds, “As the Speech/Language Pathologist at Surrarrer, I have the unique perspective of being in a variety of classrooms and grade levels. My favorite part about Surrarrer is how the staff members are so collaborative. Each day, I see the teachers, aids, and other Surrarrer staff members work together to ensure that our students feel comfortable, prepared, and ready to learn!”
Thank you Mrs. Martin for your passion and enthusiasm in helping the students at Surrarrer with communication and social language skills. #WeAreStrongsville
