Looking Forward to Next Year: Ready Math Program and iReady Diagnostic
In all of our mathematics classes, we are utilizing the iReady Diagnostic Assessment tool to help inform our instruction multiple times during the year. Here is some more information about the tool and the data it provides:
iReady provides adaptive diagnostic assessment on the computer that allows us to assess student progress relative to grade-level standards K-8
Teachers are able to access detailed score reports to inform instruction for small group and whole class learning needs and goals AND to share feedback with students and help them in setting goals for themselves
These tests provide exposure to and practice with standardized assessments that measure college and career readiness in a supportive and low-stakes environment.
Provide a progress monitoring tool for students so we can identify needed supports
Inform placement decisions in an ongoing way that is specifically related to grade level CCS standards
This is one of a variety of measures that we use to monitor student progress and inform our instruction.
