Misty Ewry

Misty Ewry is a school improvement consultant with Southern Ohio Educational Service Center and State Support Team Region 14. In this position, she supports her regional districts in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. In addition, she is the regional representative for the Ohio UDL Collaborative, Regional Data Lead for Value Added, and participates on a Content Advisory Team for assessment development. In September, Misty was selected to be Google Certified Trainer, a personal and professional goal. She has presented at OESCA Conference, Ohio Expanded Learning Summit, OAEP Conference, and most recently at OTEC in February 2019. At OETC, she emphasized that technology and personalized learning can be a powerful tool to reach all learners when instruction is focused on establishing an expert learner. Prior to her current position, Misty held the position of Special Programs Coordinator, overseeing district curriculum, assessment, and Federal/State programs. Her wealth of experience in the classroom, district leadership, and regional consulting brings an informed voice to the clients she supports.

Ron B. Rogers

Ron B. Rogers, Ed.D. works directly with all of Ohio’s State Support Teams and the Ohio Department of Education on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and braiding UDL throughout Ohio’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). He is the vice chair of the State Advisory Panel for Exceptional Children (SAPEC), In the past, Rogers worked with district leadership teams through the Ohio Improvement Process (OIP) and collaborated with districts that were in continuous improvement while assisting them to attain the excellent with distinction status. He has over 30 years of professional expertise in the areas of education and criminal justice. Rogers has also served as a curriculum specialist, director, principal, technology consultant, and classroom teacher. Presently Ron is the Program Director for the UDL Center at OCALI.
