WDMCS Community Education is an outreach department of the West Des Moines Community Schools. We provide opportunities for learning, service, and fun to people of all ages. We strive to serve the needs of our community by connecting people, ideas, and resources.

Attend WDMCS Vocal Jazz Summit Concerts Jan. 26-27!
The Valley High School and Valley Southwoods Freshman High School Vocal Music Departments invite the community to this year's Vocal Jazz Summit Concerts on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 at the Staplin Performing Arts Center. WDMCS groups will perform both evenings with our guest clinicians: Grammy Award Winner Kim Nazarian, Gabriel Espinosa, and Misha Tsiganov.
Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for students. Thank you for your continued support of the fine arts, which allows us to bring in world-renowned musicians to work with our students!

Valley Boys' Soccer Team Seeking Equipment Donations
The Valley High School boys' soccer team is collecting new or gently used soccer equipment. These items will be redistributed to help children in underserved communities have the necessary equipment to play. Gently used refers to any equipment that is not ruined, torn, or excessively dirty.
Acceptable Equipment (Please be sure all donations are clean.)
Jerseys: goalie jerseys and jerseys with names/numbers are accepted
Shorts, goalie pants/shorts, and bags
Soccer Balls: inflated or deflated
Cleats, socks, shin guards, and goalie gloves: must be donated in pairs
Place donations in plastic bags and drop them off at Valley's Athletic Office. For more information, please contact Valley Varsity Soccer Coach Aziz Haffar at haffara@wdmcs.org.
