Skating
Students will be skating during their gym class on Friday mornings. As part of their student leadership, the senior class will join the primary class to help assist with younger skaters. Helmets are mandatory. Please let the school know if you require a helmet as we do have extras donated by KFL&A Public Health. Proper face masks will also be required while skating.
Please sign and return the Inherent Risk form that will be sent home on Monday. Check your child's agenda for any changes to the above days.
HOT LUNCH
Wednesday's hot lunch is lasagna, compliments of the Hotel on Wolfe Island/Commons. Reminder to please return February's HL/milk form by the end of this week.
School Council Meeting - Jan 26
Our next School Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 26 @ 3:00pm. Meetings will remain virtual and are open to all parents/guardians. If you are interested in joining, please contact the school and a link will be sent to your email.
Family Literacy Day
Bring your favourite book to share with your Reading Buddy! We hope to have some familiar virtual visitors to share their favourite family book and love of reading with us.
Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.
Taking time every day to read or do a learning activity with children is crucial to a child’s development, improving a child’s literacy skills dramatically, and can help a parent improve their skills as well.
