February 8: "Help A Child Smile" - Mobile Dental Van (forms were sent home-appointments have been scheduled) If you would like your child to visit the Mobile Dental Van in the future and you don't have a form, message the teacher or pick one up at the office.
February 14-18: Book Fair
Parents, the Book Fair is coming February 14-18! Students will preview with their classes and then shopping days will be Monday through Friday, February 14-18. You can set up an eWallet NOW for your child, in case you don't want to send in cash! Then they'll be ready to shop on the 14th!

In 1926, Dr. Carter G. Woodson began a weeklong celebration that has since grown into an entire month dedicated to remembering the achievements, contributions, resilience, and legacies of Black Americans at a time when it was not commonly taught.

Each day the expectations of our students is represented in the word SWAG.
Each month a S.W.A.G letter will be spotlighted.
February is G - Giving it your ALL!
Every Day our students are recognized throughout the school and within the classroom for showing their Parkwood SWAG.
At the end of the month, one student will be chosen from each class to be that classroom's representative for G-Giving their ALL.

January's "In the Classroom": How-to-Videos: with Ms. Clark (Long Division) had a total of 110 Views. Continue to use the "In the Classroom" Videos as a resource at home.
January 11: I-Ready & Map Parent Workshop
45 Students (3rd-5th Grade) achieved All A's Honor Roll or A/B Honor Roll (all A's with 1 B)
Our goal is to provide workshops, resources, purple shoe laces, and events that are helpful and beneficial to our families. We will continue to provide you with opportunities to be informed and engaged.
In the Classroom & Concert Series
