Fantasy of Trees - Indian Creek Mall
Gage County 4-H STEM Challenge | Dec. 30 & Jan. 2, Extension Office
A project that pushes you to think, make and improve in science, technology, engineering or math. STEM challenges are all about thinking differently and problem solving. Gage County 4-H is hosting #hackaroom and Virtual Reality STEM Challenges that are designed for fun and learning.
#hackaroom - December 30, Gage Co. Extension Office | Ages 10+ | $10.00
- The #hackaroom STEM Challenge explores the exciting world of computer science by using MakeyMakey, an invention kit that uses the human body as an electrical conductor. Participants will learn the basics of electricity and create an interactive room with MakeyMakey.
- During the Virtual Reality STEM Challenge, youth will learn about Virtual Reality and create VR experience with 360 video and VR assests.
Babysitting Clinic | January 3 | Ages 12 & older
Learn safe and nurturing childcare techniques, behavior management, nutrition, infant & child CPR, and how to handle emergencies when caring for children.
Fee: $40 (includes small snack, activities/toys for your babysitting business) payable at time of class.

Gage County 4-H Online Enrollment OPEN NOW
$10 dues must be paid online at conclusion of enrollment process. **No enrollment fee for Clover Kids. Please follow these special Clover Kid enrollment instructions.
Projects will continue to be cleared from 4HOnline annually. Project history per members can be found under Member Reports in your family account. Call the Extension Office if you have questions.
Don & Martha Romeo Scholarship Deadline December 1
High School seniors, please note the Martha and Don Romeo Scholarship offered by the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers. They award a $500 scholarship to a graduating male and a female in Nebraska. Scholarship form is available at the Extension Office and online with a deadline to submit to our office by December 1.

2019 Treasurer's Report
REQUIRED - Volunteer Screening Process
The Nebraska Extension 4-H Volunteer application process includes volunteer screening. All volunteers (teens and adults) and staff who work directly with youth are required to complete the volunteer screening every five years. Be assured the volunteer screening process is confidential. A $5.00 fee will be required during the screening. Gage County 4-H volunteers who complete the screening will receive a free meal voucher to Runza. Thank you Runza!

Winter Face-to-Face YQCA Training Schedule
Winter YQCA Face to Face Training Schedule
- Monday, December 30 | 11:00 am AND 2:00 pm | Saline County Extension Office, Wilber
- Thursday, February 13 | 1:30 pm | Tri-County Schools
Face-to-Face training participants are REQUIRED TO PRE-REGISTER ONLINE and pay $3.00 fee. Once you have completed the training you will log back in to your YQCA account and retrieve your certificate to turn into the Extension Office by June 1.
Online YQCA training is available for $12.00 per youth. Please make special note to your 4-H age (as of Jan. 1, 2020) when selecting a course to complete. Use your 4-HOnline username and password to login to YQCA account.
