Mobile Phone Features
GPS
Global Positioning System- a navigational system involving satellites and computers that can determine the latitude and longitude of a receiver on Earth by computing the time difference for signals from different satellites to reach the receiver.
NFC
Near Field Communication- is a short-range high frequency wireless communication technology which enables the exchange of data. It enables you to buy with a phone or card without having to enter a pin or code, this could be dangerous if you lost the card because anyone could use it.
Screen Size
On a computer monitor, the viewable image size is the actual amount of screen space that is available to display a picture on. Larger screen size makes an image clearer to see, but it makes the device larger, which is sometimes inconvenient.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is an open wireless technology standard for exchanging data such as music and images over short distances (using short wavelength radio transmissions).
Bands
There are different types of phone bands, such as single, dual, tri, and quad.
-Single is just one country.
-Most phones have dual, which means that they can be used in all of Europe.
-Tri allows the phone to work in most other parts of the world.
-Quad works all over the world, in every country.
They're all affected by network coverage, not the phone. If you're a constant traveler it's better to get a quad band phone as it will ensure coverage by all networks in a particular country.
External Storage
A data storage device that is not the main memory of a computer. An example of this is an SD card.
