Changing Ownership On Your Account
How does it work?
If you signed up for a Smore account using a Facebook or Google login, you will not be able to change the ownership of your account by following the steps below.
Please contact support@smore.com to convert your Facebook or Google login to an email/password login.
Access the "Edit profile" page to change your account email and name
1. Hover your cursor over "Account" in the upper right corner
Click on "Account & Billing."
2. Next to your name, click on "Edit Profile."
Your Profile should open, and you will see the relevant fields for your first and last name, Email, Bio, and Screen name.
3. Change the first/last name and email address
It is recommended to also change the Screen name, as the screen name will appear as the first part of the sender email address if you are sending your newsletters from Smore.
4. Make sure to click "Update Profile" when you are finished.
The Profile should fold up once you click "Update Profile"
Change the password
You can then have the new owner of the account change the password. Under the "Edit Profile" page you will see the option to change your password:
