What is a labyrinth?
Since ancient times, walking a meditation labyrinth has been a journey of spiritual discovery and focus. Recently, labyrinths have grown in popularity and have been installed in many places from spiritual communities, to parks, businesses, and educational institutions. Different than a maze which has multiple pathways, a meditation labyrinth has a single pathway from the outside of the circle to the center. Walking the labyrinth calms the mind, can be a walking meditation, and is a symbolic journey of focus.
