Piedmont Fayette 2023 Summer Student Volunteer Program
The Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary is pleased to announce that it will again be sponsoring the summer Student Volunteer Program, beginning June 5 and ending July 28, 2023. Interested Fayette County students who are rising 9th grade through 12th grade will be given an opportunity to serve others in specific areas of Piedmont Fayette Hospital. This volunteer opportunity in a hospital setting gives exposure to young people who may become interested in pursuing a career in a medically related profession and hone soft skills.
Due to the limited number of youth volunteer positions available, applicants will be considered on a first come first serve basis and will be required to attend an interview and orientation session.
Criteria:
- Students in Fayette County Schools and/or children/grandchildren of Piedmont Fayette Hospital employees and volunteers.
- Students who are rising 9th through 12th grade
- Students who can commit to volunteering at least 25-30 hours over the 8 week program.
The application packet can be picked up in SMHS Counseling Department. Deadline for completed applications is March 10 at 4 p.m. Completed applications should be HAND-DROPPED at the Piedmont Fayette Auxiliary Office, 1279 Highway 54 West, Fayetteville, GA 30214, 3rd floor.
Please contact Charlang Ferguson, Auxiliary Services Specialist at 770-719-7287 or Charlang.Ferguson@piedmont.org with questions.
