A Message from the Principals
Hello Millbridge families,
On Tuesday, November 3rd, students in the Rancocas cohort and students who attend school in person as part of our self-contained or preschool programs will be learning from home. Please see your child’s to-do list in Canvas, which will contain the times of their Google meets with their teacher. This day will provide an opportunity for our students to continue to develop their digital citizenship and technology skills as they utilize technology in new ways. Students must attend their scheduled Google meets to be marked present for the day.
The schedules for students who are in the Delaware cohort or are part of the remote self-contained or preschool programs will follow their normal schedules.
Our teachers are working extremely hard as they tackle the challenging task of teaching one group of students while simultaneously providing instruction via technology for the other half of their class. This means that they often cannot respond to emails and messages received during the school day. Please remember if you encounter any difficulties while your child is working at home, help is just a click away. Please use the help icon in Canvas so any issues can be resolved as quickly as possible.
Don’t forget to set your clocks back this weekend. As many of our students will be celebrating Halloween this weekend, we wanted to remind everyone of the importance of practicing social distancing and hand washing. Your continued efforts are critical in allowing us to continue our in-school programming.
Finally, schools will be closed on November 5th and 6th. If your family will be traveling to any of the states on the restricted travel list, please notify the main office so that we can make the necessary arrangements for your child upon your return.
Educationally yours,
Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Murphy
