Student Achievement
Collaboration should be evident in all areas of the school environment as well as at the system, regional, and state levels. The school library media coordinator and the technology facilitator work closely with teachers, administrators, students, and support personnel. All of these people must be involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an instructional program integrated with media and technology.
“Flexible, equitable, and far-reaching access . . . Is essential to the development of a vibrant, active learning community" (AASL and AECT 1998)
“Technology ignites opportunities for learning, engages today’s students as active learners and participants in decision-making on their own educational futures and prepares our nation for the demands of a global society in the 21st century.”
