Seguin Sight Words:

Sight word lists for the week will be sent home by your child's teacher. Please practice One Breath Boxes to help your child become fluent in sight word recall, this will enable them to become a more fluent reader. Thank you!

Coin Drive

Fall for the Arts Coin Drive

September 21st - October 2nd

Proceeds benefit the Performing Arts Association of Weatherford

Our first grade classes will benefit by being able to attend an off-campus performance (field trip) this year.

Thank you to those who have already sent in coins. The winning class earns free snacks!

Background Checks

We are beginning to plan our Field Trip's for the year so please confirm with the office that your background checks are complete. If you have not completed one, you can get them from the office as well. Only parent's with approved background checks will be able to attend field trips with us.

First Grade Updates!

*Homework: One Breath Boxes and read for 20 minutes per night, please sign your child's reading log. :) Your kiddos are FLYING through their One Breath Boxes, way to go families!!!!

*Snack: Snack time in first grade is optional, if your child needs a snack, we will offer a 5-10 minute window for snack time at 2:00 during the day. Please only send a healthy snack and water.

*Temperature - Feel free to send a hoodie or light jacket for your child to wear in class if they are cold throughout the day.

*Birthdays - If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday in class, you may bring/send cupcakes and drinks to the classroom at 3:00, but please no balloons, pizza, etc... is allowed.
