Applicant Requirements:
- Graduating Seniors from a high school in the following counties: Macon-Bibb, Jones, Wilkerson, Twiggs or Monroe in Georgia.
- An official copy of your high school transcript and SAT/ACT scores.
- A typed 250 word (maximum) essay. Subject: TBA
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, principal or assistant principal.
Application must be postmarked by January 31, 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.

- Teachers can create collections for students. Students can create collections. Teachers and students can add to collections collaboratively.
- A collection can be added to Google Classroom (or another learning management system) to be used as a resource. Or it can be added for students to add to the collection as a class.

Hutchings College and Career Academy Goals

- To provide an academically rigorous curriculum that engages and motivates students to master national, state, and local standards using technology, community resources, and exemplary teachers.
- To create a high performing learning culture that promotes collaboration through professional learning communities that foster quality implementation of a standards-based curriculum.
- To aid the student in exploring his or her educational career goals.
- To acclimate students into the "model" 21st century emerging workforce candidate by giving them the knowledge-base, equipping them with stackable college and industry credentials, and preparing them to compete in a global economy.
