NOTES FROM VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR - ANDREA DORN
The 2021-22 school year is off to an amazing start! The support of our dedicated volunteers is a huge asset to our school. Whether you can commit to a weekly volunteer opportunity, or occasionally, we appreciate your presence at school. I look forward to working with all our parents throughout the year.
Volunteer Guidelines
In order to help ensure the safety of students, staff, and volunteers, our school district has established a new check-in procedure to be followed at all sites. All school day volunteers (including field trips), will be required to:
· Complete an online volunteer application.
· Sign in and sign out of the building each time you volunteer.
· Wear a printed nametag during your volunteer service hours.
· Wear at a mask when volunteering in the building.
Volunteer Application can be found on the Maple Grove Middle School’s website by clicking Families, then Volunteers. Or by using the following links:

DROPPING OFF OR PICKING UP
Since many families drop off or pick up their child from MGMS, we want to let you know the procedure. Families that drive their child will pick up and drop off at door 2 by the community ed gym doors. Please see the map below. You are not able to turn left from N Eagle Lake Blvd into the lot as the line backs up all the way to Hemlock Lane, blocking the intersection. You are only able to turn right into the lot. When you arrive, if the line is already at the entrance of the lot, please line up on the shoulder of the Westbound lane on N Eagle Lake Blvd to avoid having to turn around.
Thank you.
