Iwrite campaign
iPads are a privilege, not a right!
Our mission
Our mission of the Iwrite campaign is to STOP the kids in elementary and middle school from getting iPads at school. These are our kids futures! We want to spread awareness to the parents and school administration that giving iPads too early in a kids education is only affecting our kids rather than helping them. We want to put a stop to this right now! Elementary and middle schoolers should be picking up pencils, not iPads. Soon, writing will be something foreign that kids in the upcoming generations will not have the pleasure of knowing, or doing.
87% of teachers say they are a distraction, not a benefit
Across America, more than 3/4 of the teachers are saying the iPads are more of a distraction than a benefit. This is only one example of how these iPads are hurting our kids. They are not receiving the whole benefit of an education because they are too busy playing games!
Meetings every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
If you are interested in our campaign and would like to learn more about exactly what we do, please stop by the William T Cozby library on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7-8
Wrist bands and tshirts
Wrist bands and tshirts will be given out during lunches at middle and elementary schools to spread our campaign
