1099INT Form supplied by bank

Need to complete 1040EZ by April 15th

Line 1

This box is for wages, salaries, and tips. You can find this information in box 1 of our W-2 Form

Line 2

You will fill in your taxable interest in this box. You can find this information in box one of your 1099INT form.

Line 3

For line 3 follow instructions on the back of your 1040EZ

Line 4

In line 4 you will add lines 1,2, and 3 to get your adjusted gross income

Line 5

This line shows if you are financially independent or dependent. If you are claimed check the box that applies to you and follow the instructions on the back of the form.

Line 6

Line 6 is for your taxable income. To find this you subtract line 5 from 4. if 5 is larger than 4 enter a 0 in this box

Line 7

Line 7 is for federal income tax. You can find this in box 2 of your W2 form

Line 8

Line 8 is for earned income credit (EIC) follow instructions on back for this line.

Line 9

Line 9 shows your total payments and credits. add lines 7 and 8a for line 9.

Line 10

Line 10 represents your total tax. Use total from line 6 and find your number using the tax table.

Line 11

This line shows if you have healthcare and are fully covered. Follow the instructions on the back of 1040EZ for this line.

Line 12

This shows your total tax. Add lines 10 and 12 to for this line.

Line 13

This shows if you are receiving a refund. If line 9 is larger than 12, subtract 12 from line 9. This is the amount you will be refunded.

Line 14

If line 12 is larger than 9, then subtract line 9 from 12. This is the total amount that you owe.
