Dude Be Nice
Can you imagine a school…
Where all the students say “Hello” to everyone they pass in the halls?
Where all students take pride in their school campus?
Where students strive to help other students succeed?
Our annual YLMS Dude, Be Nice Program addresses life as a middle school student and creates a positive school climate where everyone belongs. Through a series of activities, stories, and interactions, our workshops will provide YLMS 7th graders with new perspectives on how school life can be positive while simultaneously promoting ways for students to communicate with each other in a supportive environment.
This day is dedicated for our YLMS 7th graders. It will be on November 12th and 13th. Because our supportive 7th grade teachers will be participating, they have adjusted their academic classroom schedule to accommodate the time spent in the workshop. The program also consists of one school-wide assembly for all students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade on Friday.
YLMS choirs group photos- November 12th (Tuesday) Students will need to bring their order forms, payments, and dress shoes. Performance attire will be provided for the photo.
Thursday Photo Day- Is your child in a group on campus such as Math Counts, Jazz Band, Intermediate Band, Intermediate Orchestra,WEB, ASB, BCTV, AVID or Yearbook?
If so, they have group pictures NEXT Thursday during the school day. Be sure to have them wear their shirt on that day and check with their advisor for any other details.
Please note: Dance Team will take their pictures on a different day (to be determined)
Vaping Article- Below is an article titled
