With TED-Ed, you can create your own lessons using its endless resources in various fields with tons of videos made by teachers and experts. Supporting teachers and sparking students' curiosity is its priority goal.
What is TED-Ed?
TED-Ed is a 2.0 web tool for education for teaching and learning. TED-Ed includes a growing library of original animated videos to supports teachers to create their own lessons with interactive factors.
How to use TED-Ed?
Just following these easy steps!
Register/ Sign in
The first thing to do is to create an account on TED-Ed in order to be able to create your own lessons (if you are a teacher) or presentations (if you are a student)
Create a lesson
After signing in, choose Create a lesson to start!
Step 1 - Find a video
Use the search tool bar on your right and type a key word or a Youtube URL
Step 2 - Select a video
There will be a lot of results for your search. just simply find the one that fits your need!
Step 3 - Get started
by choosing Launch Lesson Editor
Add content
You can select which contents you want to add to your lessons. The selections including introduction, multiple choice questions, open answer question, discussion, supplemental info, and conclusion.
Publish
After typing contents, select Publish to finish your lesson.
Share or Copy Link
Your lesson can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Google after being published. You can also copy the link.
Activity management
You can manage your lesson activities and start discussions, see your notifications, or edit your account in Your Lessons section.
