Open Enrollment lasts through October 29th. Click here to begin completing your Open Enrollment.
All active members will be moved to the 70/30 Plan for the 2022 benefit year, which will have an $85 employee-only premium. You can reduce this premium by $60 to a $25 employee-only premium by completing the tobacco attestation during Open Enrollment.
Members will need to take action during Open Enrollment if they want to enroll in the 80/20 Plan or reduce their monthly premium.

Understanding Scores and Feedback Statements – This document offers supplemental resources for candidates who need support working with their scores and feedback statements.
Have you set up an account in ORBIT, the website that provides you with secure access to your personal retirement account information 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Did you know Burke County Public Schools' Employee Assistance Program offers a free monthly seminar on a variety of topics? October's topic is "Embracing Diversity and Differences". The entire calendar of seminars for 2021, along with a link to view the seminar, can be found below.
Any employee that misses or anticipates missing three or more days of work due to a serious health condition (including surgeries and maternity leaves) should contact Tammy Huffman at 439-4322 about completing FMLA paperwork.
An employee returning to work from FMLA must provide their immediate supervisor and the HR Department with a Return to Work note from their healthcare provider before resuming job duties and responsibilities.
Teachers can check their CEU's by logging into their TimeKeeper account.

When entering information in TimeKeeper, if the professional development activity was in the area of technology, please make sure you choose "Digital Learning". Technology is no longer required. The new term DPI uses for this credit is "Digital Learning".
Have you entered a professional development activity into TimeKeeper and it was rejected? If so, you can click on the activity and find out the reason it was rejected.
An appointment is required for any employee that needs to change their legal name. After an employee receives their new driver's license and social security card, they can contact Tammy Huffman at 439-4322 to schedule an appointment to officially change their name with Burke County Public Schools.
