THE SACRED GRACE CHRISTMAS STORE
Believe it or not, the holidays are right around the corner! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah, and others will be here before we know it. That means it's time to start preparing for the Bishop/Maddox Christmas Store! Our community partners at The Sacred Grace Englewood have been planning all year for a great store that includes families at both Bishop and Maddox.
Here's how the store works: On Saturday, DEC 14 Maddox ECE will be transformed into a winter wonderland with snacks, decorations, free childcare, and a holiday shopping experience. Parents who register in advance will have the opportunity to purchase gifts that are valued at $25 each for only $5 each! Parents can purchase gifts for all of their children even if they are not enrolled at Bishop or Maddox. There will even be a room for wrapping your gifts before you leave!
Please mark you calendar for Saturday, DEC 14 and register your family HERE.
There will be NO PAPER REGISTRATION THIS YEAR. If you need assistance registering online, please contact our front office 303-806-2400.

ENGLEWOOD ROTARY HOLIDAY FAIR
Join The Englewood Rotary on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Guild, 3455 S. Inca St., Englewood (next to the Civic Center) for their holiday fair. They will have food and beverages plus the first 100 kids will get a free goodie bag of fun collectibles and toys valued at $10 or more. Everyone gets a door prize ticket, too.
Entry tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family. Groups (Scouts, churches, clubs) may also be eligible for free tickets. Students can “shop” from very affordable ($5, $10) tables of action figures from Disney and Star Wars; comics, coins and stamps.
Items ranging from $25 to $150 will be sold in a silent auction. There will be signed baseball caps, photographs, and other sports memorabilia – think Olympics, Broncos, Avalanche, Rockies, Nuggets plus signed first-edition books, and other one-of-a-kind items that will make excellent holiday gifts.
All proceeds from the holiday fair will help provide scholarships to colleges or trade schools for graduates of Englewood High School and Colorado’s Finest High School of Choice. Through our Englewood Rotary Foundation (a 501c3) in the last 15 years they have awarded $120,000 in scholarships to Englewood students.
