What was the art like?
-In the Medieval times the colors were somewhat muted. There was lots of religious art in the form of manuscripts, mosaics and fresco paintings in churches. Also tapestries.
-Gothic art included brighter, vivid colors, sculptures, stained glass windows, manuscript, metal works, panel paintings, the use of shadows and light, move towards realism, symmetry, perspective and proportion and changes of subject matter.
