Santan Storm Newsletter
Q4 2021
Keep Calm & Storm On!
LETTER FROM THE "EDITOR" ... MRS. REZZONICO
May 2021
Dear Santan Junior High Families,
As the year comes to a close, I would like to express my gratitude to all the Santan families for your support this school year. It has been an honor and pleasure to work with your children each day. I did not envision starting my career as a principal in the midst of a pandemic; however, I can truly say the support and understanding I have felt from the Santan community has been heartwarming. Santan staff and students truly make it a joy to come to work each and every day.
Fourth quarter brought us many exciting events that are highlighted in this newsletter. Students celebrated their academic success at our Stormin’ Scholars celebration; they were involved in athletics, volunteer opportunities, and fine arts performances. Counselors and teachers celebrated our Character Counts award recipients at a breakfast on a beautiful May morning. Academics are paramount at Santan, but having fun at school is important, too!
Our fabulous booster club helped us celebrate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to our hard-working board members for making the week special and showing the love for our wonderful teachers.
We look forward to seeing both our incoming 7th and returning 8th graders on July 19th for our Stormin’ Day to review schedules, tour the campus, and receive other important information.
On behalf of the staff and administration at SJHS, enjoy your summer!
Educationally yours,
Mary Ann Rezzonico, Principal
