Take Time to Enroll in 4-H!
4-H Enrollment
We would encourage Adams County 4-H families to enroll by April 15th so you do not miss out on any 4-H activities in 2021! Please note there are certain projects that require you to be currently enrolled in 4-H prior to participating. If you are Active (enrolled online and paid) in Adams County 4-H by April 15 your name will be included in a FUN special drawing for prizes to be given out during fair. Please enroll using the 4-H Online program – Instructions, “4-H Available Project Listing in Adams County” includes the current Pick-A-Project is available on our website at https://extension.unl.edu/statewide/adams/4h/ No packets will be mailed out. Hard copies are available at the Adams County Extension Office. There are a variety of 4-H projects; therefore, you can make your 4-H experience unique. One way to make projects more fun is to find a friend. If they were not in 4-H in the past, assist them in signing up and selecting the same projects to do together. Just a reminder that projects can be added to previously filled out enrollment forms until the state enrollment deadline date (June 15).
Enroll Today!
Youth can start enrolling for 2021 4-H by going to https://ne.4honline.com and sign in by using the email address that you used to create your account last year. If you can’t remember your password select the option “I forgot my password.” If brand new to 4-H, go to https://ne.4honline.com and select “I need to set up a profile.” There is an enrollment fee of $5 this can be paid online (credit or debt card) when enrolling or by cash or check to the Adams County Extension Office. The enrollment will not be complete until the Extension Office has received the online enrollment submission and enrollment fee. Step-by-step instructions for enrolling can be found on our website. If you have any problems or questions, please call Gwen or Twila at 402-461-7209.
Leader & Volunteer Enrollment
We depend on and use leaders and volunteers throughout the Adams County 4-H program. Every year the Leaders and Volunteers are required to enroll/reenroll in 4-H Online. Once enrolled for 2020-2021, your status in 4-H Online will be “Pending” until we receive verification that you have cleared the DHHS Volunteer Screening (need only to complete initially and then when the County requests it) . Once you have submitted your enrollment, you will receive an email of acceptance or new volunteers an email with instructions on what to expect next as we will submit your name to the State 4-H Office. We need every Leader/Volunteer to complete all the steps required if you are planning to participate as a Leader/Volunteer in 2021.
Congratulations & Thank-You
