Artist's Alley
Location: Artists Alley (inside the library)
Meet real comic book artists, buy their books, and have them signed! Visit all the artists tables and have them stamp your program map then turn it in at the official comic con table for a prize!
Comics Commons
Location: Outdoors just outside the main entrance on the corner of Liberty and Clinton St
Artists, comic book dealers, toys, podcasting, crafts groups and more!
Iron Cartoonist
Location: McChesney Room
This game pits top cartoonists against each other in a live drawing event. Utilizing themed “ingredients,” three artists will compete for the title of ultimate cartoonist and earn prizes for the audience. Who will earn the title of Iron Cartoonist.

Kid's Arts & Crafts
Location: Slater Room
Pop on over to the children's room all day long to make a fun and wearable piece of art! C.R.E.A.T.E Studios will help you create your own superhero wrist cuffs with matching superhero emblem. While you are there register for our popular Summer Reading Program!
What Comics Should I Read Next? Panel Discussion
Location: McChesney Room
Join Chad from the Time Union's Comics Multiverse Blog and Chris Martinez from the Brotherhood of Evil Geeks for a discussion on great new comics and graphic novels for all ages.
Unexpected Cartoons
Location: McChesney Room
Cartoonist Cara Bean leads a playful workshop for all ages. Participants are led into various drawing exercises that would encourage improvisation and strengthen creative ability. We will approach drawing from new angles and discover unexpected results. All that is needed is a sheet of paper, a pencil (which we will provide), and an open mind (which you will provide!)
The Costumer Cosplay Contest
Location: McChesney Room
Come dressed as your favorite comic, manga, superhero or other fun character. Winners will be awarded $50 Visa Gift cards made possible by The Costumer in different age categories including children, teens and even adults! Kids line-up starting at 2:45 outdoors near the bike rack on the parking lot side. Adults line-up starting at 3:15.
