Happy Wednesday, HRBA Families!
As we head towards the end of January, we begin an exciting new time. It is Catholic Schools Week and the start of families re-registering their children for school next year. Registration for current families opens up on Monday, Jan. 27th. The costs are outlined below. All current families will have until Sunday, Feb. 23rd to lock their spot(s) in for next year. On Monday, Feb. 24th, current spaces will open up to new families. You may register online (beginning next Mon) or grab a paper registration packet. We are so blessed to have wonderful families who make this such a special community. What makes Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy so special is more than just our amazing bilingual program, it is also our incredibly dedicated staff and our fantastic families. Last week, we had two parents stop by and start spreading bark chips...not because they had been asked, just because they saw a need on campus. Thanks to Mrs. Johns and the Garibay family. Then, on Monday, I met with Mr. Flores (Noah's dad), who came in on the holiday to donate his time and expertise as an electrician to get our parking lot/roof lights working again. It is times like this that remind me, it takes all of us to make a special place for our kids to learn and grow. We look forward to seeing those registrations come flooding in as we begin to make our plans for next year! As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask Nina or myself. - Wed - Fri, Jan. 22 - 24: 6th/7th Graders go to Camp Seymour
- Fri, Jan. 24: Pay2Dress ($2 for "free dress). Reminder: items should be approopriate for a Catholic School. Also, no ripped or torn jeans. Campers return at 1:30 pm - If parents pick them up at that time, they may take ALL of their children home early.
- Sun, Jan. 26: Open House for new families from 1pm - 3pm
Tuition and Fees for 2020-21
● $150 (1 student), $300 (2+ Students) on/before March 22nd
● $200 (1 student), $400 (2+ Students) after March 22nd
TUITION *DIVIDED IN 10 MONTHS (AUGUST – MAY)
PreK 3 & 4 Tuition = $7,500 KG through Grade 8
o 1 Student = $6,500
o 2 Students = $11,550
o 3+ Students = $14,800
The tuition fees have been increased 5% from this year’s tuition. This will allow HRBA to institute modest teacher raises, as well as account for an increase in utility costs.

Holy Rosary Gala
Please join us at this year's Gala on February 22nd. We are offering discounted tickets to Holy Rosary School families. Dress in your fancy cocktail attire for a great evening out. This year's theme is Carnival. Cost for one is $60 or $120 for a couple, and we are offering free childcare onsite to those who purchase Gala tickets. Ticket includes appetizers, cocktails, dinner, dancing, and more. To purchase tickets online please visit: https://hrba.ejoinme.org/Gala2020 and select the purchase tickets link. If you are attending the Gala as a guest and are hoping to secure free childcare for the night of the Gala please sign-up with Nina in the office. Babysitting will be first come first serve, so don’t wait to sign-up.
It will be an exciting evening, students will be singing and dancing to entertain the crowd and showcase their bilingual skills. This is a very important fundraising event for our school with a financial goal of $175,000. The primary funds raised during the evening go to fund tuition assistance programs. We cannot provide scholarships without a successful evening!

Reminder: $100 Auction Family Commitments are due February 7, 2020!
As noted on the Financial Agreement, each Holy Rosary family is required to contribute to the annual Auction (formerly Crab Feed). We will accept donations equal to or greater than $100 in value in the form of cash or check, gift cards to local restaurants, businesses, sporting events, or places of interest. Families may also provide vouchers for goods and services such as catering, lawn maintenance, baked goods, etc. At the auction, there will be a wine toss game. If you would like, you can donate wine towards your $100 commitment. We can provide donation forms, if you prefer to solicit your items from a local business, stop by the office to grab a form.
When turning in your auction items to the office, we will ask you to fill out a form with an item description and value. This allows us to track these as in kind donations.
If the item or payment is not received by February 7, families will be invoiced $150.

We need 1-2 parents from each homeroom class to assist Andie Bryan and Gloria Gomez in coordinating teacher gifts on behalf of the entire class.This is for the May Staff Appreciation event. Interested parent Liaisons shall email Andie Bryan: email@example.com
