RED RIBBON WEEK IS HERE
This week is Red Ribbon Week and there is a theme each day (see below).
Monday - wear red (kicking off the week)
Tuesday - wear neon (too bright to do drugs)
Wednesday - wear career clothing (your future is too valuable to do drugs)
Thursday - wear superhero clothing (no time to do drugs when you're saving the world)
Friday - wear Pirate pride (#Proud2BPirates)
THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING
PUMPKIN TIME
This week we will cut them open and practice counting seeds before beginning our project: figuring out a way to preserve a pumpkin once it is cut open.
WANT TO HELP? An extra set of hands is always welcome during our big science projects...if you have a day or time you could volunteer in the coming days, please email me so that I can schedule you!

There is still time to contribute to our 1st grade basket for the raffle. Our theme is Mommy's Time Out and will consist of things to pamper mom. If you send something in, please let your child know so that he/she remembers to deliver it. If you like, you may send an email so that I can check it, as well. THANKS!!
