New Business
2020-2021 Parent Council Changes
- 2nd Grade - Britany Gladhill - welcome to our newest 2nd grade Parent Representative
- Council Co-Chair - Dina Malanga - will serve the remaining year as Co-Chair, serving as Council Chair next school year
Elimination of At-Home Extension for Fridays in December (2020)
Goal - Give students a break from screen time and a head start to the weekend. After three months of hard work, a break is needed.
Teachers get an extra 2 hours to prepare for the next week, and for the ever-changing learning situations, they face with families needing or requesting virtual learning.
The current curriculum and school day schedule is beyond what most school districts are doing.

Hilltop teachers have been taking photos of students in class to provide to HSA for Memory Book and in-school communication

Snow Days
Before the meeting, the district announced that it is anticipated that Wednesday, 12/16/2020 will be a normal school day and Thursday, 12/17/2020 will be a full Snow Day - no remote learning.
Staff Recognition
PE with Mr. Coviello
Starting 12/15/2020 the Health Department gave the okay to return to indoor PE instruction with masks required. Students are in areas marked off 12 feet apart.
