Regions are Unique
Every region in South America has unique characteristics. There's Brazil's Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, The Andes and Pampas Gauchos, And the Caribbeans South Americas oil industry. Se whats happening with these regions today with the South America Newsletter!
Rio Carnival
There is a carnival held in Brazil close to every ones heart. It is a competition between the Samba school but also a most enjoyable experience. The carnival is prepared carefully ahead of time and include costumes, floats and a theme for the whole carnival itself.
Gauchos
In the Andes and the Pampas Gauchos are a bit more than a cowboy, it is an Argentinian life style that has gone on for three centuries. They have a job to herd cattle all year round. They are experts in their profession, they also use many different tools for their job.
Oil Industry
The oil industry in The Caribbean S.AM is spectacular. They have averaged to 141,500 barrels a day. It was there reason for success but also had some issues as well. Latin America also holds 1/5 of the worlds oil.
S.AM
These regions usually have a tropical climate, dry, humid, and rainfall fluctuates across the country. S.AM includes 13 countries, eight countries in the Caribbean, four in Andes and the Pampas, And one in the region of Brazil being Brazil itself. And finally S.AM is the fourth largest continent in the world.
