This week marks the final week of school before Spring Break begins. It is also Ranger Unity Week - a week of events at the high school designed to showcase students' talents, provide an opportunity to give back, and have some fun.
This week's events include:
Monday - Lunchtime games only
Tuesday - Talent Show 6:30pm at the middle school auditorium
Wednesday - Blood Drive 8:15-1:15 in the gym
Thursday - lunchtime games only
Friday - Dodgeball at 6pm in the gym (permission slip required for participation)
One week to go until Spring Break!
School Year Extended Due to Snow Days
Last week, the school board voted to make-up the days missed from school due to inclement weather. Three snow day-makeups were already on the 2017-18 school calendar and the board chose to use two of those days.
This means for students the final day of school will be Tuesday, June 12th.
Graduating seniors' final day will remain June 1. However, the schedule of events leading up to the graduation ceremony on June 9th will be adjusted. That schedule will be sent out within a week.
Archery in Physical Education
The benefits of this unit are many, including the ability to develop focus and concentration, improve coordination, and increase physical strength and stability.

Character of the Month for March- Empathy
Each month we will focus on a trait through our Character Matters program. During homeroom (every Wednesday), students will have discussions regarding these characters and why they are important.
“No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.”
– Theodore Roosevelt
Take some time to speak with your student regarding what empathy means in your household and why it's so important.

Historically, the senior awards assembly has been held on the Friday before the graduation ceremony. Having students take final exams as well as attend an assembly is not feasible.
