An optometrist will be present and performing the screening. The results are pass/fail. Your student will bring a copy of their screening home.

If your child wears glasses or contacts, please make sure they have them at school during these days for accurate testing results.

Should you have any questions, please contact our school nurse Danielle Green (dngreen@hse.k12.in.us)

If your child should be excused from participating (e.g. religious exemption, recently had an exam with an ophthalmologist/optometrist) please email our school nurse, Danielle Green (dngreen@hse.k12.in.us), by Friday, September 24. Please remember to include your child’s name, teacher, and the reason for the exemption.

This connection allows you to view and have access to your student's work on E-learning days, in the case of quarantine, or perhaps everyday learning and submitting assignments.
