Michael Faraday
1791-1867
Known for his work in physics and in chemical work.
Michael Faraday became a chemist and physicist by reading books when he was 13, and by experimenting with the idea of force. Faraday built two devices to produce (what he called) an electromagnetic rotation. In about ten years in 1831, Faraday began a series of experiments, in which he discovered electromagnet induction.
