Principal Allen's Weekly Newsletter

August 19, 2019

Dear Spicewood Elementary Parents & Community Members,

It was wonderful to greet and welcome students on the first day of school! Their smiling faces and excitement made our weeks of preparation well worth it! On Thursday and Friday, teachers dedicated time to building positive classroom communities and Mrs. Kentopp, our school counselor met with students new to Spicewood to help them transition smoothly. We are certainly off to a great start! I am looking forward to visiting classrooms this week and observing teaching and learning in action!

Have a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Allen,

Principal

Join the PTA!

By joining the PTA, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget and help us support our many PTA-sponsored programs and events. An annual PTA membership costs $10 and simply shows that you support parents and teachers working together to build a vibrant, engaged school community where our children thrive. #PTAPROUD

You don’t need to volunteer or come to meetings (although we love it when you do!)...joining the Spicewood PTA just shows you care. https://spicewoodpta.membershiptoolkit.com/membership
