Making those near and far a little more familiar
Say Hello to the Owen Family with Pioneer Bible Translators!
Todd and Angela Owen serve the Lord in the country of Papua New Guinea (PNG),
located in the western Pacific, just north of Australia.
PNG is usually featured on the cover of National Geographic and touted as the Land of the Unexpected, mostly due to its profuse cultural diversity and more than 800 language groups.
The Owen family serves with Pioneer Bible Translators, having been tasked with the mission of encouraging conditions for transformation through translating the New Testament into the Somau Garia language, the people with whom they live and work.
The Owen family serves SCC by being your voice to the Bibleless and providing those near and far with regular opportunity for intercessory prayer and intercessory giving.
Speaking of intercession . . . as you pray for the Owen family:
- Pray that by God’s Spirit and Word the Somau Garia will be changed into the likeness of Jesus.
- Ask God to empower the Owen family for the calling He has given them in Jesus.
- Pray that they will be wise and discerning in their walk.
The Owen Family is: Todd, Angela, Andrew, Samuel, Abigail, Hannah and Josie.
Todd, Angela, and Josie are those currently living and working in Papua New Guinea . . .
