Food Drive Challenge!
We are challenging each homeroom class to bring in 100 food items for the
Pettengill House in Salisbury!
In honor of the upcoming 100th Day of School!
Please bring in the non-perishable item that your homeroom has selected during the weeks of
January 24th- February 4th
Most needed items are listed below:
Progress or Chunky soups
Spaghetti Sauce (jars)
Baking Mixes (cookie, muffins, cakes, etc..)
Meals in a can (chef-boy-r-dee, spaghetti o's, etc... )
Baked Beans / Pork and Beans
Rice Pilaf or Rice Mixes
Snacks (cookies, crackers, potato chips, etc..)
Coffee
Boost or Ensure (nutritional drinks)

Did you know that you can get 4 free COVID tests sent to your home? This is part of the federal government's efforts to distribute tests, and you can quickly sign up (it takes about 1 minute) to get them here: https://special.usps.com/testkits.

The state government is also working to distribute over 2 million self tests in over 100 communities that have been particularly impacted by the pandemic. For further information on the availability of these free tests, please go to - mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-self-test-distribution

Upcoming COVID-19 Clinics
The Lower Merrimack Valley Regional Collaborative has added additional clinic dates to their clinic schedule. These will be held at the West Newbury Annex, 381 Main Street, on the following Mondays from 5 - 8:00 PM or later depending on the need:
- January 24, 2022
- January 31, 2022
All vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer, Pedi Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) will be available to all eligible age groups, including 1st, 2nd & booster doses. Note: individuals 12-17 year old’s are recommended to receive a booster shot 5 months after their initial Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination series.
Also, immunocompromised children aged 5-11 years old are now eligible to receive an additional Pfizer dose 28 days after their second shot.
