Lions have so many unique physical characteristics. First, lions are very furry and they have very big manes around their face. Second, lions males height are 3.9 ft and female height are 3.6 ft. Lions have hunting behavior, mating behavior, familial behaviors. {familial=of relating to or occurring in a family or it's members} They are really fast they run 50 mph {miles per hour} The male lion have a mane around it's face and male lions also, have sharp teeth. You may have thought lions were prey but actually their predators. There preys are zebra's, giraffe's, pig's, cape buffalo, antelope, and wild beast's. But did you also, know lions are carnivore's because they only eat meat.{carnivore= a animal that only eats meat} For example of a food chain the sun would come first, to provide energy for the grass. Then, the grass would get eaten by the zebra and second, the zebra would get eaten by the lion. Last the lions would get decomposed by a decomposer. {decomposers= an organism that break down other cells, plants, and animals} let me draw you a picture for example.

Do you want to know fun facts about lions? Well did you know lions are the second largest big cat. Some baby lions can die when they are two years old. I bet you didn't know that. Do you want to know why male lions have manes? Well let me tell you. They have manes to protect their necks during fights. Here's another fact DON'T pet a lion unless its trained. You don't want to become a lion's lunch. After 105 days the mother lion gives birth to two or three cubs and they would weigh 3 pounds at birth. You may have thought lions were nicer than tigers but really tigers are nicer than lions. I didn't believe it at first but it's true.
