We hope that this newsletter finds you well. We are putting together the final plans for the end of the year and we will get this information to you soon.
Please remember that teachers and families should be communicating at least twice a week. Please be sure your child is attending virtual learning class meet-ups and communicating with their teachers. Please also make sure that you are responding to email messages or phone calls from your teacher(s).
Do you have library books that need to be returned? Teachers will start sharing books that are missing so that you can be on the lookout. A good rule of thumb is to look to see if a book has an Oakland Elementary School barcode on the back. Books can be returned during any packet turn-in event.

Grab & Go Meals Available
The Charleston County School District Office of Nutrition Services is offering a drive-thru “Grab & Go” Style Meal Service consisting of a Breakfast and Lunch for students at 17 sites within the Charleston County School District.
*See CCSD Nutrition Services website for distribution sites to pick up meals.
*Students 18 years or younger will be provided lunch and breakfast for the following day. Students from neighboring districts are eligible to participate in the meal service offered at the Charleston County School’s locations.
*Allergen Information will be included with the meal components offered.
Is your CCSD Device Broken?
The CCSD IT department is launching a bus service that will allow parents to exchange a broken CCSD device for a replacement. The bus will have Chromebooks and iPads for anyone who needs an exchange. Here is a link to the full schedule in the event another location is more convenient for you. This service is being advertised on the CCSD website.
The Technician on the bus will not be providing other IT Technical support as that is being handled by the CCSD Help Desk. The telephone number is 843-849-3400.
