You Can't Take It With You

The Cascade High School Drama Club staged three outstanding performances of You Can't Take it With You on October 28th, 29th, and 30th. Congratulations to the cast, crew and directors on yet another successful show! As this quirky, funny yet sentimental show comes to an end, we are thankful to all of the community members that came out to support The Drama Club. Make sure you come out and check out The Addams Family, coming to our theater the 13th - 15th of April, 2023.

FFA National Convention

The National FFA Convention & Expo is all about growing the next generation of leaders. No matter where students are in FFA, they find inspiration and direction to become a leader and influencer, ready to make an impact. During this event, our members find out who they are, who they want to become and how they can change how the world grows. It is a memorable experience that changes their lives through experience. Cascade FFA is led by an amazing group of officers, who had the best experience this week downtown! The officer team spent from Wednesday morning through Friday afternoon together experiencing all that the convention had to offer, from The Opening Session with the National Officers and 30,000 other FFA members, to the convention hall filled with agriculture college booths, vendors, and professionals sharing about career opportunities, equipment, programs, 65,000 other FFA Members, and more! The officer team also was able to spend half a day in a community service project as they served as National FFA Courtesy Corp members in the mega FFA store. They were able to experience fine dining, music concerts, and a rodeo, along with all of the other chapters from across the country. Our members were able to interact with FFA members from all fifty states, Puerto Rico, and The Virgin Islands! We even ran into Cascade Alum Dylan Kottkamp, who was recruiting for OSU! We had almost 50 members present from Cascade High School and Middle School, and all had a great time and were well behaved under the guidance of our excellent chapter officer team. Special thanks to our chaperone Mark Benter who has gone above and beyond for our members the last three days, Ms. Romoser for helping Joe have this awesome experience, and of course Mr. Blickenstaff who is always supportive, even driving our group down Friday and spending the entire day with us!
