Irvington Weekly Newsletter
April 7, 2023
Welcome back, Eagles! I hope everyone enjoyed their week off. We're gearing up for the last quarter of the year. With only one day off (Memorial Day), the last quarter can feel like a long one, but I encourage you to continue to send your child to school on time every day to maximize their learning time. Here's to a strong end of the year!
With care,
Mr. G.

Scholastic Book Fair Is Next Week!

Wednesday, April 12, 3:00-4:15
Thursday, April 13, 3-6 (open late!)

This fun event is a fundraiser for our school. Depending how much we sell at the fair, the PTA earns back up to 50% of sales in Scholastic Dollars. The PTA uses those dollars to purchase free books for all students to take home prior to the Read-A-Thon, support the school library, and bulk up teachers' classroom libraries!
Volunteers to work open hours are still needed! Please email rebecca.rencova@gmail.com if you’re interested in helping out.
Visit our Scholastic Book Fair Website to learn more about the fair, including how to set up an eWallet to which anyone can contribute! Here, you can also shop at the Online Book Fair, which runs through April 23rd. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will benefit our school, as well!
