Beaver Bites
Late Start Monday
Monday is a Week 3 - We will meet in the Art Room at 8:00 for Certified Staff and 8:30 for Paraprofessionals. Caroline will lead us in an introduction to Depth of Knowledge. Please bring your charged computer to the meeting.
Technology vs Maintenance Requests
Please remember any request that is a Move it, Fix It, or Clean it or involves ABM or the Maintenance Department is submitted to Tanya or I. Anything technology related is submitted through IncidentIQ by the staff member. If you have questions about a specific request, please do not hesitate to ask.
Beaver Beliefs
When Tweeting, don't forget to include our new hashtag #beaverbeliefs.
PBIS - Universal Cool Tool
Next week we will utilize our Cool Tool time to teach students the Fire and Building Evacuation procedures. The Cool Tool Lesson Plan can be found HERE. Everyone should take a few minutes and review the lesson plan and the Safety Manual because there are some significant changes due to the construction. Please let me know if you have any questions.

SEESAW
Please remember to talk to your class about the importance of getting their families connected to SeeSaw!
Paraprofessionals
Our Paraprofessionals are vital to the success of our instruction and our students. We have a great team of Paras that are willing to help and work with any student! Our Paraprofessionals primary responsibility is instructional and they should be working directly with students. Their first priority is working with students with IEPs or supporting teachers so they can work with students that have IEPs. If the para in your classroom is being utilized for clerical tasks, their skills might be better used in another classroom working with students. However, there are certain situations that they must make copies or some other similar task.
