This week in math we are focusing on comparing numbers with decimals. We have a quiz on decimals on Thursday. It is practice of what we have covered in class last week and this week. Anytime this week point out real world examples of decimals to your child. Our students struggled to realize how prevalent decimals are, so while your pumping gas or grocery shopping see how many decimals numbers you can find with them.
This week we are moving to social studies. We will be working on map skills. Now days maps are mostly in the form of a GPS on our phones. We will be looking at all different types of map including a GPS. We will end the week focusing on maps of Texas and the cities and landmarks our great state has to offer.
