Memorial School Library
National Library Week April 13th to April 17th
National Library Week Overview
Memorial School will be celebrating National Library Week during the week of April 13th. Students and staff are encouraged to dress according to our daily themes. We also have a guest author, Diane deGroat, coming to talk with our students and we will be having a few contests as well (see details below).
This week is a great way to make children aware of the fact that libraries have so much more than just books to offer! Libraries also have magazines, books on tape, videos, video games, ereaders, ebooks and so much more! You can celebrate National Library Week by visiting the Upton Town Library, getting a library card for the first time and/or by visiting a new library! And of course you can always celebrate by READING!!
