Get Students Ready for Tomorrow's Primary
Newsela has organized an event to educate students about the primary elections. By participating in Students Vote 2016, participants will have the opportunity to learn about candidates and election issues at a just-right reading level, digitally vote in primaries with other students across the country, and discuss election results.
To participate in this great event, sign up for Newsela, create a class, and add students. Students must be added to a class to vote.

Featured iPad App: ChatterPix Kids
ChatterPix Kids is a free app that allows you to make any photo chatter! Simply take a picture on your device, draw a line to make a mouth, and record your voice to make your picture talk! The app also has stickers, filters, and frames that you can apply to your image. Final products can be exported to the Camera Roll.
This app would be perfect for a biography or a book report. However, please note that you can only record 30 seconds of audio.

Auto-Caps Feature in Google Drive
Google has just released a feature that automatically capitalizes the first word of the sentence when typing in Google Docs. If you would like to turn this off, click on Tools > Preferences > then uncheck "Automatically capitalize words".
