Volume 1 / Issue #16 - Week of January 20th, 2020
Speaking of WOW - we have started our annal WOW ME WINTER time! This is the time of year where we encourage our students to continue to GROW!!! We are looking for evidence of their growth through tests, data, class activities, assessments/projects. behavior and anything that they do to WOW us and to show that they are growing!! Students get a snowflake with their name and how they WOW's us on it. The snowflake is displayed in the main hallway for everyone to see!! At the end-- in March we will have a special celebration...last year we taped Ms. Lattimore to the wall!! We can't wait to see what this year's celebration will be!
Have a wonderful week and we are hoping that students will take the time to WOW us this week. WOW ME WINTER!!

Dual Language Continuity
We have yet to receive the information about the Dual Language Continuity. Thank you for your patience, this will be a new program, so we expect it to take a little time. Once we receive the information we will get it to you.
TAG Continuity
Mrs. Walton will be visiting the TAG Classes on Tuesday to discuss the Continuity and the process. The letters/forms have been delivered to the school and will be given to students on Tuesday, January 21st.
There will be a letter from Mrs. Walton/CHES explain a little more. We do ask that you make sure that a copy of the complete form be sent to Mrs. Walton as well as the Dept. of Pupil Accounting...CHES like to be sure that we stay on top of things, so we like to keep a record of who has and has not turned in their forms (sometimes we don't get this information in a timely manner). So please do one of the following for accountability reasons:
1. Complete the form and turn it in to Mrs.Walton who will turn it in to the Dept. of Pupil Accounting (A copy of the form with my signature and date will be sent to you for your records - this proves that you turned it in!)
2. Complete the form and fax/mail it to the Dept. of Pupil Accounting. A copy of the form should be sent to Mrs. Walton for her records as well (if parents just tell us they sent it we have no documentation...sending a copy of the completed form gives proof and documentation)
If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Walton (wendy.walton@pgcps.org).
