Parent Internet Safety Presentation-Illinois Attorney General's Office
Our Tech@Home series of parent education offerings will conclude on Thursday, April 19th at 6 PM at Old Quarry Middle School. The topic for the evening-only presentation will be Internet Safety.
This workshop will be offered by Margaret Ogarek from the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children division of the Attorney General's office. In it, she will offer parents recommendations for how to empower their children to practice safe Internet use and protect them from online predators. She will share current, evidence-based research on the topic of Internet safety and give parents/guardians the opportunity to ask questions. Specific sites to avoid and how to recognize them will be included. This session is designed for parents; childcare will be offered.
Please register at here.
We regularly hear your questions and concerns about this important topic and urge you to attend this informative session to learn from an expert!
