Fair Use Policy
Kimbrough Charter School, Christi Kimbrough President
Using Copyrighted Material in the Classroom
The Kimbrough Charter school holds it's staff, educators, and leadership to very high standards. Integrity, honesty, and high ethical values are expectations for all employees of the school. Please make good decisions when making copies of other peoples work for your classroom.
The Purpose of using these Materials
Less is more. If you believe you are over-stepping this rule, don't do it. This is also an ethical issue and our school abides by the highest of ethical standards. If it feels wrong, don't do it.
Copies of Others Work for Students
Make copies of only published work, and only a small amount of copies for your classroom. Do not make copies for other teachers, they can come up with their own work. Never profit from these copies.
Transformative use in the Classroom
Make sure that you are not adding to the material (transforming it), but only using it for educational purposes.
